Meet Cathy McGowan
After gaining a Business degree from the University of Technology, Cathy embarked on a successful career in accounting and finance. Sensing she had more to give, she then left a promising career at a large international chartered accounting firm to pursue her passion for property.
What followed was a diverse and interesting career path from Real Estate sales and then working for the licensing and regulatory authority, the Office Of Fair Trading, as a Real Estate Investigator. From there Cathy moved to the Industry’s Professional Body, The Real Estate Institute of NSW, working in roles in membership liaison, as well as agent compliance and professional standards.
Cathy’s work in professional standards and agent conduct, gave her a unique insight into how agents work and buyers and vendors think, as well as a platform to network with agents.
With a real desire to get back into the bricks and mortar of real estate and wanting to help buyers, Cathy approached an award winning buyers agency and has gained invaluable experience as a buyers agent over the past 11 years.
Now she has decided to start her own boutique agency, where she can concentrate on helping people achieve their property dreams.

Dignity
Dignity is a registered national charity established in 2015, bringing innovation and strength to the sector. At Dignity, we believe we can collaboratively end homelessness in Australia. To do this, we empower people who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness to prevent, respond to and end their homelessness. Dignity currently provides supported temporary accommodation and longer-term stable housing for hundreds of people every night of the year and operates multiple programs to prevent homelessness including food relief and education across Australia.
Dignity’s innovative models underpinned by dignified care for people experiencing homelessness have been presented as an agenda item at the United Nations Conference in New York and the organisation has won several prestigious awards and recognised at the Telstra Business Awards and Social Impact Measurement Awards as social changemakers.
Assistance Dogs Australia
Founded in 1996, Assistance Dogs Australia trains and places unique dogs with Australians in unique situations. We currently train dogs that specialise in support for people with a physical disability, autism or PTSD. As well as providing a range of services to these individuals and their families.
